Warming shelters opening up today with frigid temperatures affecting our region

Frigid temperatures throughout today has prompted local agencies to open up warming shelters.

The Opportunity House in Greeneville at 205 North Irish Street has opened up its doors and will be open all throughout today and tonight.

In Kingsport, Shades of Grace at 313 East Sullivan Street is also another option for those needing to warm up today.

And in Bristol, Virginia, Hunt Memorial United Methodist Church, located at 824 Harmeling Street, is opening its doors at 8 a.m until 5 p.m, and will be serving breakfast and lunch throughout the day.
