THP: Driver killed in single-vehicle crash in Greene County

A Greene County man is dead following a single-vehicle crash Sunday morning.

A preliminary report from the Tennessee Highway Patrol says Timothy Lawson, 26, of Bulls Gap was operating a pickup truck on State Highway 70 near the Gap Creek Road intersection when the vehicle went off the right side of the road. Investigators said the driver over-corrected, causing the truck to flip several times and eject Lawson.
