ETSU Doctor And Professor Named To Governor’s Coronavirus Task Force

On Wednesday, an East Tennessee State University physician and Professor of Medicine and Chief of the Division of Infectious Disease was named to Governor Bill Lee’s new Coronavirus Task Force. Dr. Jonathan Moorman will join eight others from across the state in an effort to prevent, identify, and treat potential cases of COVID-19. Dr. Moorman and the other experts who were appointed will work closely with the Governor and his administration, along with local, state and federal agencies to develop and execute strong precautionary measures, resource allocation and emergency response plans should the need arise in Tennessee
