Upcoming Bristol, VA City Council and School Board election field set

The ballot is set for Bristol, VA City Council and School Board election scheduled for May.

Four candidates are vying for two open City Council seats, currently occupied by Kevin Mumpower and Anthony Farnum, who are seeking reelection. The two challengers are City planning commission members Ric Watts and Michael Pollard. Two seats are also open for the City’s school board. Current member Tyrone Foster is looking to get reelected, while Frank Goodpasture III, Ginger Fleenor, and Jean Mulumba are vying for the open seat.

The election is set for May 5th.
