UPDATE: SBA loans available to all Tennessee counties and cities for COVID-19 assistance
Small businesses have until December to file for loans that aim to help localities with economic distress from the coronavirus.
A report from the Small Business Administration says business owners, private non-profit organizations, small agriculture cooperatives, and aquaculture operations are eligible for up to $2 million in loans that could help pay fixed debts, meet payroll, and bills that can’t be paid due to the disaster impact caused by COVID-19 and associated closures.
The disaster relief is also available to contiguous counties in Southwest Virginia including the city of Bristol along with Lee, Scott, and Washington counties.
