All 95 Tennessee Counties To Get Share Of 200 Million Dollars For Local Support
Northeast Tennessee counties in our region as well as the rest of the state are poised to receive part of 200 million dollars in one time relief funds from Tennessee Governor Bill Lee. Capital maintenance, public safety, and road projects are just some of the areas where the funds can be used. Governor Lee says the funds will help ease the burden on local governments as they work to meet infrastructure and safety obligations. Each county in Tennessee will receive at least 500 thousand dollars. The applications will be made available by April 30th with funds becoming available after July first of 2020.
