Northam, Tieless During COVID-19 Press Conferences…For Good Reason

You may have noticed Virginia Governor Ralph Northam hosting his almost daily updates on the COVID-19 crisis. What you may have not noticed was Northam and his top aides are dressed in suits but no ties. Northman, the only doctor serving as Governor says he read a medical study that showed ties worn by doctors at hospitals can host harmful germs and help spread the disease. So Northam issued an informal directive to keep the ties in the closet until further notice according to the Associated Press. Northam, a pediatric neurologist has often been a somber voice of authority during the pandemic by saying daily life will probably be disrupted for months.
