Governor Northam Extends Closure Of Non Essential Businesses
Virginia Governor Ralph Northam on Wednesday told reporters non essential businesses like recreation, entertainment and personal care facilities will remain closed till May 8th. On March 24 the Governor announced the closure of all recreation,entertainment and personal care businesses would close due to the COVID-19 crisis. Northam says the data shows social distancing is working, but now is not the time to stop doing what’s working. The Governor also announced the state’s stay at home directive will remain in place until June 10th.
