Virginia Marks 13 Anniversary Of Virginia Tech Shootings
Thursday April 16 marks the thirteenth anniversary of the tragic and bloody massacre of 32 students and faculty at Virginia Tech University. And to remember the occasion, Virginia Govenor Ralph Northam has ordered all Virginia Commonwealth flags to fly at half staff. On April 16, 2007, a lone gunman and student at the university shot and killed the 32 individuals who ranged in age from 18 to 76. The shootings occurred at two locations, in West Ambler Johnston Hall and Norris Hall on the campus of Virginia Tech. The gunman later committed suicide.
