326 Trailer Manufacturer Employees To Be Laid-Off In Glade Spring, Virginia

326 employees at a Washington County, Virginia dry freight van manufacturer will be laid off in early June. Utility Trailer Manufacturing Company, located in Glade Spring announced the employees will be laid off due to COVID-19. Utility Trailer, located on Monroe Road in Glade Spring is the oldest, privately owned, family operated trailer manufacturer in America. They also own a manufacturing facility in Marion Virginia and there has been no word of any layoffs at that facility. The 326 employees will be laid off June 9.
