Guidance Released For Places Of Worship To Reopen
Tennessee Governor Bill Lee on Friday released guidance on reopening houses of worship. The Governor’s Office of Faith Based and Community Initiatives says the decision on in person gatherings will be left up to each individual faith community. The state is recommending a phased approach to resuming in person social gatherings and vulnerable populations 65 and older who are also immunocompromised should not gather in person until a later time. Places of worship should also limit the size of attendance in your sanctuary and other confined spaces to create seating arrangements that provide at least six feet distancing between families. You can see the full list of guidance suggestions at the Governor’s website.
