Narcotics Investigation Turns Up Numerous Drugs, Weapons, And Cash…One Arrested
Investigators with the Johnson City Police Department arrest a Johnson City man on multiple drug related offenses following an investigation into narcotics sales. Police arrested 44 year old Anthony J. Jackson of South Roan Street. Undercover agents conducted buys of crack cocaine from Jackson at his residence during the month of April. Jackson fled police while the search warrant was being conducted but was taken into custody. Investigators located what is believed to be heroin, crack cocaine and marijuana inside Jackson’s residence. Authorities also located two handguns and more than four thousand dollars in cash. Jackson was scheduled for an arraignment on Friday to answer to a host of charges including maintaining a dwelling where drugs are kept or sold and resisting arrest.
