TVA Says Lake Levels Being Drawn Down In Anticipation Of Locally Heavy Rainfall

With up to one to two inches of new rainfall in northeast Tennessee expected and as much as four inches in Western North Carolina during the next few days, the TVA is taking action to reduce local lake levels in anticipation of the predicted heavy rainfall. .The Tennessee Valley Authority will continue to monitor rainfall amounts and lake levels as well as streams and will make adjustments to those waterways if necessary.
