Bristol Stabbing Leaves One Dead, 24 Year Old Charged With Murder

A Bristol Virginia man is dead and a Bristol Tennessee man is arrested in connection with the death. Bristol Virginia Police say 28 year old William Kenneth Price died as a result of a stab wound from a fight with 24 year old Chandler Ryan Rutter of Bristol Tennessee. Police responded to the 600 block of State Street after a report of Price lying on the side of the walk with a stab wound to the abdomen. Price was transported to a local hospital and died from his injuries. Following an investigation police determined that Rutter was stabbed Price during the fight. Rutter charged with Second Degree Murder and is being held at the Bristol Virginia Jail without bond. Rutter will be in General District Court on Wednesday to answer to those charges
