Unicoi Farmers Market to start July 7th following month long delay due to COVID spike
Following a month long delay due to a recent spike in COVID-19 cases, the Unicoi County Farmers Market will open to consumers next Tuesday.
The Farmers Market and Community Yard sale has a new home under the Buffalo Pavilion at the Unicoi Visitor Center located just off of exit 32 on Interstate 26. The market will be held each Tuesday from 8 -1 p.m, barring another spike of coronavirus cases in the region.
COVID-19 regulations will be in effect, including required mask wearing, using hand sanitizer at the entrance, one way traffic at the market, and disposable gloves for testing produce ripeness.
