Greeneville police searching for suspect who robbed 81-year-old on Main Street

The Greeneville Police Department is trying to track down the suspects in the Wednesday morning robbery of an 81-year-old woman in the downtown area.

The report said the incident occurred just before 11 am on West Main Street. The suspect is described as a white male in his 20s, medium build with short dark hair, a black cut off shirt, and black shorts.

Police said he left the scene in a possible blue/green color Nissan or Chevrolet Cavalier with a female behind the wheel driving.
