Multiple, Positive Cases Of COVID-19 Reported In Lee County Virginia Public Schools
Positive cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the Lee County Virginia Public School system. According to a facebook post on Monday, multiple employees at Rose Hill Elementary and the Lee County Career and Technical Center tested positive for the virus. The health department has investigated the cases and contacts of the cases and advised about the need for isolation or quarantine. The areas within the school system which were occupied by those infected have been cleaned and sanitized. The post goes on to say that families who have children participating in the Jump Start program that began on Monday, may continue to participate. However, if a parent or family does not feel safe in doing so to please contact the Lee County School System.
