Man seriously wounded in Wednesday morning shooting in Church Hill

Church Hill Chief of Police Chad Mosley told us witnesses are still being interviewed as his office investigates an early Wednesday morning shooting.

A report from Mosley’s office said the male victim identified as Kenneth Carr was found with a gunshot wound to the head at the property located in the 200 block of Jefferson Avenue just after 1:30 a.m.

The chief said preliminary details show the crime was an isolated incident and the public is not in danger. Carr, 20, was taken to an area hospital where he was listed in serious condition.
