Church Hill Shooting Incident…Now Being Investigated As Homicide After Victim Dies

Church Hill Tennessee Police say the case of a man found shot in the head on Wednesday is now being investigated as a homicide after the victim died. Police Chief Chad Mosley says in a release that 20 year old Kenneth Carr has died from injuries he received from a gunshot wound to the head. The shooting occurred just before two am on Wednesday at 212 Jefferson Avenue. Police discovered Carr had suffered a single gunshot wound to the head. Carr was flown to Johnson City Medical Center where he was listed in serious condition before succumbing to his injuries. The Church Hill Police Department is still investigating the shooting and is working with the Attorney’s General Office.
