City of Johnson City to conduct most meetings electronically until further notice due to COVID-19
The City of Johnson City will conduct most of its meetings, including the board of commissioner meetings electronically until further notice.
City Manager Pete Petersen says its the responsible thing to do for the city in trying to limit direct contact with others as much as possible as Washington County continues to see a drastic rise in COVID-19 cases.
Tennessee Governor Bill Lee’s Executive Order 51 permits governing bodies in city and counties to conduct electronic meetings.
