BVPS: Employee tests positive for COVID-19

A Bristol, Virginia School employee who works at the district’s central office has tested positive for COVID-19.

A letter sent to faculty and staff says the employee hasn’t had any contact with other staff members since July 6th and the individual has not physically worked at the office for 21 days.

All appropriate precautions have been taken in accordance with the new VA Workplace Safety requirements, and the area where the employee worked has been deep cleaned twice.
