THP: Search underway for vehicle who allegedly hit bicyclist Sunday in Greene County
The Tennessee Highway Patrol is searching for a vehicle reportedly connected to a hit-and-run that sent a bicyclist to the hospital Sunday in Greene County.
A crash report says the victim, Perry Cannon, 62, of Johnson City, was riding a bicycle Sunday morning around 11 A.M on Old Stage Road, when a vehicle behind the man, described as a blue older model SUV, allegedly hit the man and left the scene.
Cannon was airlifted to the hospital and THP continues to search for the blue SUV, who also is described to have front right side damage.
