Tweetsie RR attraction closing due to state COVID-19 precautions

North Carolina health officials have ordered the Tweetsie Railroad attraction in Blowing Rock to halt their operations a week after reopening their park.

A message posted by Tweetsie owners said the shutdown will include the cancellation of upcoming events including October’s Ghost Train.

The company plans to reevaluate the status of the virus which could permit their Christmas festivities to take place.
