UPDATE: Washington County Tennessee Schools start online beginning August 3
Washington County, Tennessee Schools will begin their year online next Monday, Aug. 3.
A report from Director of Schools Bill Flanary says parents can contact officials concerning home technology needs and students should be prepared to spend typical school learning hours on their computers since attendance and schoolwork are being tracked.
Flanary also said the move comes as COVID-19 cases remain high. Classes will remain on a virtual schedule for 30 calendar days but if virus cases drop, schools will revert to a reopening plan in coordination with regional health officials.
