UPDATE: Developers of proposed Bristol Hard Rock Casino launch PR campaign for referendum push

The developers of a proposed casino resort at the former Bristol Mall location are pushing their chips in on a PR campaign that will try to convince city voters to buy-in on the project.

The ‘Vote Yes For Bristol’ committee launched its effort Tuesday and included support statements from Mayor Bill Hartley and school board members Steve Fletcher and Tracey Mercier.

Hard Rock International and a consortium of real estate groups have invested millions and two years of work with state lawmakers to get a referendum on November’s ballot that was approved earlier this month by a Circuit Court judge.
