UPDATE: Kingsport police identify two suspects in Miller Village Apartments shooting
UPDATE, 6:30 p.m.
A report from the Kingsport Police Department says Dakota Shelton and a 17-year-old juvenile turned themselves in without incident on Tuesday.
The statement said the two will remain in jail to await their arraignment on charges stemming from the July 22 incident.

Two teenagers have been identified as the prime suspects in a shooting last week at a Kingsport housing complex.
A report from Kingsport Police said a warrant has been obtained for Dakota Shelton, 19, on an attempted first-degree murder charge along with two counts of aggravated assault. A 17-year-old male juvenile is also charged with assault in connection with the July 22 incident at Miller Village Apartments.
An unidentified 32-year-old victim was shot that night while a 22-year-old was pistol-whipped. Police said the gunshot victim has been released from medical care.
The suspects are believed to be traveling in a red 2001 Chevrolet Monte Carlo with a Tennessee license plate BTH-797.
