Poll: Northam gets good marks for Virginia’s handling of COVID crisis
A new Hampton University poll shows Virginians are satisfied with Governor Ralph Northam’s handling of the COVID-19 crisis.
The survey conducted by the school’s Center for Public Policy says 54 percent of the participants said they approve of Northam’s performance while 73 percent strongly disapprove of President Donald Trump’s handling of the pandemic.
Other bullet points included:
– 81 percent of participants say they are following health guidelines to combat the virus.
– 45 percent think the economy will continue to get worse
– 52 percent said their local governments are doing a good job managing COVID regulations
