Four of seven NETN counties with mask mandates set to expire tonight at midnight

Four of the seven Northeast TN counties that issued mask mandates are set to expire today at midnight.

Those include the counties of Carter, Johnson, Unicoi, and Washington, who’s mayors all issued the executive order in the middle of July.

Greene County’s mandate runs through Aug. 14, Hawkins County’s mandate runs through Aug. 13, and Sullivan County’s mandate runs through Aug. 12.

We’ll keep you updated throughout today and this week should any county extend their mask mandate.
