Scott County, VA Sheriff’s Office searching for missing woman last seen Sunday morning

The Scott County, VA Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in search of a missing woman last seen early Sunday morning.

Police say Mary Ruth Gilliam, 31, was last reportedly seen in the Blackwater/Canton Rd. community of the county yesterday at 10:30 a.m, and was wearing a light blue shirt, pants, muck boots, and carrying a green shoulder bag.

She stands 5’5” tall, weighs 225 pounds, with dark brown hair, and blue eyes. If you see her or know of her whereabouts, please call the Scott County Sheriff’s Office at 276-386-9111.
