Washington County Tennessee Mayor Extends Face Covering Mandates

Washington County Tennessee Mayor Joe Grandy on Monday extended his executive order requiring the wearing of face masks through the end of this month. The mandate states that masks must be worn by people in public places including all government buildings. The decision to extend the mask requirements comes after Tennessee Govenror Bill Lee signed Executive Order 54 granting local mayors in 89 counties the authority to issue local mask requirements for the public.
