Bristol, VA Public Schools to start academic year in-person, with hybrid model
The Bristol, VA School Board has given approval to its 2020-21 reopening plan, and will start the year with in-person classes using a hybrid model.
The plan calls for classes to run Monday-Thursday, with Friday being used as a remote learning day. Families do have the option to choose an online learning route should they have concerns about sending their children back to in-person learning.
Students in grades 3-12 will also be required to wear a face mask. The first day of classes start Aug. 20.
