Kingsport City Schools free meal program to last through Friday

Kingsport City Schools will offer free meals to children in need through the end of the week as the system prepares to start the academic year virtually next Monday.

Breakfast and lunch will be served to children 18 years and younger, and the grab and go meals will be provided from 10 a.m- 1 p.m at school sites and by school bus delivery.

In order to receive a meal, the student must be present at the meal distribution site or school bus site, but the child does not have to be a Kingsport City Schools student to be eligible to receive a meal. School bus routes and more information can be found on the KCS website.
