Smyth Co., Sheriff: All employees diagnosed with COVID-19 have recovered

Smyth County Sheriff Chip Shuler has confirmed all employees diagnosed with COVID-19 in his office have recovered.

Last month, Sheriff Shuler announced an outbreak of eight positive coronavirus cases that included bailiffs, a patrol deputy, a captain, and support staff.

Shuler said a total of 13 individuals were impacted by COVID-19 in his office, but as of Wednesday, all have returned to work.
