Smyth County Sheriff’s Department Staff Back At Work.

Twelve employees and one support person with the Smyth County Sheriff’s Department are back at work after testing positive for COVID-19. In a statement from Sheriff Chip Shuler, all 12 Smyth County Sheriff’s Department staff employees and a support person employed by the county, but works out of the sheriff’s office are now back on the job and no new cases have been reported.
