Lebanon High School to operate fully remote through Oct. 5 after student tests positive for COVID-19
Lebanon High School in Russell County, Va has moved to fully remote learning after school officials say a student tested positive for COVID-19.
A letter to families says that student was on school property Sept. 21, but did not have direct contact with other individuals. Contact tracing is underway between the school system and Russell County Health Department to try and identify anyone that may have come into contact with the positive case. Students will start full virtual learning today and will stay on that model through Friday, Oct 2.
Students will return to their 100% hybrid model the following Monday, Oct 5.
