Southwest Virginia Airports Receive Funds For Improvements
Three southwest Virginia airports are receiving funds for improvements as part of 20 projects at eleven airports across the Commonwealth. Virginia Highlands is receiving more than 850 thousand dollars for taxilane, and roadway rehabilitation as well as a runway extension . Tazewell County and Mountain Empire Airports are also receiving funding to support improvement projects.
