Dominion Energy, Driverless Shuttle To Hit Road This Fall
Dominion Energy, which serves seven million customers in Virginia with electricity needs and based in Richmond is expected to complete the roll out of a driverless shuttle. Dominion began testing the 13 foot autonomous, electric shuttle this summer, a first step toward driverless pubic transit between metro stations. The EZ10 shuttle nicknamed “Relay,” built by French manufacturing EasyMile and owned by Dominion , is expected to hit the road sometime this fall as a pilot program. Meanwhile, Dominion also plans for 50 new electric school buses to be in operation by the end of the year.
