Virginia Launches New Open Data Portal…For COVID-19 Response And Recovery
The State of Virginia is launching a new COVID-19 Data Portal to provide greater access to the data informing public health officials and allow Virginians to interact with it. The Virginia Open Data Portal now includes more than a dozen new COVID-19 datasets from the Virginia Department of Health. Governor Ralph Northam says the goal is to harness data to promote efficiency, increase transparency, and develop innovative solutions to the challenges we face. The portal will make the data driving decisions about COVID-19 available to all Virginians and empower people across the Commonwealth to engage in the ongoing COVID-19 response and recovery efforts. You can access the portal by going to data.virginia.gov.
