Gov Northam: “Best Wishes” to President Trump, First Lady after both announce positive COVID-19 cases

Virginia Governor Ralph Northam and First Lady Pamela Northam are wishing President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump a speedy recovery after both announced early Friday that they had tested positive for COVID-19.

Northam sent his well wishes to the Trumps on his social media page, while also encouraging everyone to continue taking COVID-19 seriously with following proper health protocols to keep each other healthy.

Pam and I are sending our best wishes to the President and First Lady, and to the more than 46,000 Americans—and 450 Virginians—also diagnosed with #COVID19 yesterday.

This virus is very real and very serious. Let’s continue to take care of each other by doing the right things.

Both Northam and the first lady announced a positive COVID-19 diagnosis last week and are currently in isolation.
