Updates And Changes Made To Tennessee Pledge…Some Business Restrictions Lifted

Tennessee’s Economic Recovery Group is issuing updates and lifting some restrictions for the state’s businesses operating under Governor Bill Lee’s Tennessee Pledge. The adjustments will enable Tennessee businesses to operate with more flexibility, while keeping social distancing measures in place. Among other changes include, focusing on case by case flexibility, preventing COVID-19 transmission from close physical contact rather than surface transmission, while encouraging regular disinfection and hand hygiene. Hotels may resume valet services and removing the recommendation to close playgrounds, provided social distancing is in effect.
