Downtown Water And Wastewater System Improvements In Johnson City To Begin Soon
Next Monday, Johnson City will begin its more than one million dollar investment for Downtown water and Wastewater System improvements project. The project includes the rehabilitation of 26 hundred feet of sewer line and over 550 feet of waterline installation. Construction crews will begin their work at the Cherry Street end of Buffalo Street and progress in sections until phase one is completed by December 31. The second phase will begin in January and involve water and sewer work on East Market Street and Buffalo Street to South Roan Street.
