Police: Chuckey man fires shotgun into room of family member, charged with attempted murder

A Greene County, Tennessee man was arrested without incident over the weekend after police said he fired a weapon into the room of a family member.

Kevin Million Crumm, 62, is charged with one count of attempted second-degree murder, according to information from the Greene County Sheriff’s Department.

Investigators said Crumm threatened the victim several times on Sunday evening while inside the property located on Stone Dam Road in Chuckey. Crumm then discharged his shotgun through a bedroom door.

The incident report said that the shot “narrowly missed” the victim.

Crumm is being held without bond and is set for arraignment in Sessions Court.
