Domestic charges filed against Bulls Gap woman following argument over prayer
A police report says an argument over prayer led to a domestic dispute on the way to work for a Hawkins County couple.
Robin Craig, 43, of Bulls Gap, is charged with false imprisonment, domestic assault, and resisting arrest, according to a report from Sheriff Ronnie Lawson’s office.
Investigators said the victim would not pray with Craig that day and then tried to escape from their moving car because of the threat of violence.
The victim was able to escape and call police who confronted Craig at the couple’s apartment. The suspect refused to cooperate with the officer and was taken to the ground. Craig was transported to a hospital for a separated shoulder before being jailed.
