BREAKING: Governor Lee, First Lady retreat to quarantine following positive virus test of security officer
Tennessee Governor Bill Lee and First Lady Maria Lee are being quarantined at the Executive Residence after a member of his security detail tested positive for the coronavirus.
A message from the capital says Lee’s virus test administered Wednesday was negative but the family will remain at home for cautionary measures. Other members of Lee’s staff have been practicing CDC guidelines and their tests also came back negative.
Lee’s weekly press conference was canceled and done remotely by phone as a result of the situation.
