AMBER Alert Cancelled, Father Of Two Children Found Missing Is Arrested

Two children are safe and a father in Erwin is in custody after an AMBER Alert was issued by the TBI on Wednesday night. State authorities sent out the alert just before nine pm for missing five year old Koraleigh Simon and six year old Kayson Jones, who were found safe shortly after the alert was issued. Erwin Police searched for the children’s father, Jason Simon, who was wanted on kidnapping charges,. Jason Simon is now in custody according to online records.
