Memphis Man Dead, Hawkins County Man Wanted In Connection To Kingsport Shooting

A Memphis, Tennessee man is dead, and a Hawkins County man is wanted after a Wednesday night shooting in Kingsport. According to the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Department, 24 year old Kyree Marcus Holmes, of Memphis was found at the scene of the shooting on Haynes Drive with a gunshot wound to the chest. Holmes was transported to a local hospital where he later died. Authorities are searching for 25 year old Roger Rabbit Cornelius Roberts of Church Hill in connection with the fatal shooting. Roberts is described as a white male with brown hair and blue eyes, is six feet three inches tall and weighs 180 pounds. Roberts is charged with second degree murder. If you know the whereabouts of Roberts do not approach him, but call 911 immediately. The case remains an active investigation.
