AMBER Alert canceled for missing 2-year old child out of Kingsport

An AMBER Alert has been canceled for a missing 2-year old child out of Kingsport after she was located safely.

The Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office along with state authorities were looking for June Simpson, who was reported missing out of the Eastern Star community just after 9:00 p.m Monday night and was later the subject of an AMBER Alert issued just after midnight Tuesday by the TBI.

The Sheriff’s Office said she was found safe just after 1:00 a.m this morning.
