Eastman Producing Tritan Renew To Make Protective Case For iPhone 12

Kingsport’s Eastman Chemical Company continues to make strides with its plastic recycling technology as the company teams up with Lander, a producer of protection products for iPhone 12 devices. Eastman’s new technology of sustained recycled plastic is being used to produce durable and shatter resistance covers for iPhone devices. Eastman makes Tritan Renew with certified recycled content to assist in the production of a variety of durable products, including reusable sports bottles, small appliances, food storage containers, eyewear and cosmetics packaging. Eastman’s Tritan Renew is the company’s first product to market using molecular recycling, which utilizes recycled plastic as a raw material.
