Utah homicide suspect captured by US Marshals at Greene County campground

A woman wanted for an assault in Utah in July that resulted in the victim’s death was captured by US Marshals at a Greene County campground in Baileyton.

Cashell Kelly Carr is charged with criminal homicide by assault and criminal mischief, according to court records obtained from the Utah Department of Safety.

Published reports said Carr was inside a store located in a Salt Lake City suburb and started hitting her non-verbal autistic son who was in a wheelchair and then pushed a 65-year-old woman down to the ground while running from the area.

That woman later died from internal injuries.

Carr remains jailed in Greeneville awaiting an extradition hearing.
