Ballad Reports Positivity Rate Back On The Rise After Small Decline On Thanksgiving

After showing a small decline on Thanksgiving Day, Ballad Health is reporting Friday the positivity rate within the health care provider’s reporting period is once again on the rise and so is the number of patients. The positivity rate stands at nineteen and a half percent. Five percent is considered a high spread of Covid 19 transmission. 239 patients are currently in Ballad hospitals, that’s an increase of 30 since Thursday. 64 patients have died from Covid19 in the past week in the 21 county service area of Ballad Health. Ballad reports 44 Designated COVID 19 beds available.
